and carry out repair work.

Soldering devices are a practical and, above all, safe way of connecting pipes and fittings
using the soft soldering process. This method is still used today e.g. for
copper pipes.
While in the past, it was impossible to do this kind of thing without a naked gas flame, a modern contact soldering device
allows soldering of pipes and fittings with electric current.
As a result, soldering of copper pipes is possible much more safely and can also be carried out during conversion
work and repairs in particularly sensitive working environments.
The devices are available in various designs and with suitable electrodes
for the contact soldering device, which can be exchanged easily.
Freezing devices Freezing devices allow targeted freezing of pipes to carry out repairs and extensions
without having to empty pipes and system circuits completely. In old systems, too, in which valves and sliders no longer work, freezing a pipe can be a good solution. |

Here’s how freezing works:

There are electrically operated thawing devices but they cannot be used with all types of pipes.
It is not possible to use many thawing devices with plastic pipes, for example, and their use with copper pipes may be limited.
