Return notes
- Would you like to return an item within 14 days? Is an item supposed to be picked up at your premises as part of a complaint? Please take a moment to read through our return notes so that the return can be processed quickly and easily!
Please always register returns beforehand with our customer service team.
- Where possible, use the TBS Technischen Bedarf original consignment packaging to return the item. If the items have been sent to you without any other packaging in the product packaging, this is also the transport packaging for the return.
- Make sure that the product cannot slip or move in the dispatch packaging.
(To do this, please place the product upright and in the centre, and fill any additional space with packaging material.)
- Products that are filled with liquids must be securely sealed and protected against leakage (please pack and seal in a poly bag if required), to prevent the contents leaking en route.
Dangerous goods
Dangerous goods are marked accordingly on the packaging as well as on the order, delivery note and receipt. There is also a relevant note with the following designation on the receipts for each item:

Undamaged dangerous goods
Never return dangerous goods without first registering it with our customer service team!
- If possible, pack undamaged items in the original dispatch packaging.
- Make sure that the product cannot slip or move in the dispatch packaging. (To do this, please place the product upright and in the centre, and fill any additional space with packaging material.)
- Print out the respective label (LQ for an LQ ID, BATTE for a BATTE ID). (

Stick the label onto the long side of the package.

- In the case of lithium batteries/batteries (lithium polymer and lithium ion in particular - “BATTE” ID on the Weinmann & Schanz delivery note and the invoice), the following additional precautionary measures must be put in place:
- Remove in-house plug-in systems
- Mask the poles (safety from short-circuiting) - Otherwise, there is a risk of fire or explosion)
Tips for secure packing
- Use the padding that was in the original consignment.
- Alternatively, materials such as bubble wrap, packing paper, foamed polystyrene or crumpled paper.
