• Suitable for use in hot air heating systems according to DIN 4794 and consist of 3 separate measuring and switching systems with the TR temperature regulator, TW temperature monitor and STB safety temperature limiter functions
• In the event of any faults, the STB puts the monitored system into a reliable state
• Works according to the principle of liquid expansion
• The electrical switching elements are micro switches

• If the pending temperature exceeds the set limit value on the temperature sensor, the circuit is opened and the micro switch is mechanically locked
Once the critical temperature remains lower by approx. 10 K, the micro switch can be unlocked manually
• Self-monitorng with safety temperature limiter STB
• If the measuring systems is destroyed, i.e if the expansion liquid escapes, the pressure in the diaphragm drops with the STB, and the circuit remains open
• Unlocking is no longer possible
• When the sensor cools to a temperature under approx. -20°C, the circuit is also opened, but when the temperature rises, it closes again automatically
