- Colour: Braun
- For organic gases and vapours, boiling point > 65°C
• B:
- Colour: Grey
- For inorganic gases and vapours
• E:
- Colour: Yellow
- For acid gases (e.g. sulphur dioxide, hydrochloric acid)
• K:
- Colour: Green
- For ammonia

Gas filter classes:
• Maximum permissible concentration class 1:
- Half mask Series 7000: 1000 ppm (0.1 per cent by volume) or 30 x GW*
- Full face mask Series 9000: 1000 ppm (0.1 per cent by volume) or 400 x GW*
• Maximum permissible concentration class 2:
- Half mask Series 7000: 5000 ppm (0.1 per cent by volume) or 30 x GW*
- Full face mask Series 9000: 5000 ppm (0.1 per cent by volume) or 400 x GW*
